The NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) is the leading body of just about all College Sport. Your first step towards an Athletic Scholarship is registering with the NCAA Clearinghouse.

Athletes have 5 college years to complete 4 years of athletic eligibility. However, if the minimum academic requirements are not met my students this will almost certainly lose them one year of eligibility.

The NCAA clearinghouse will verify your eligibility.

Students must complete Secondary School and have a grade point average (GPA) of 2.00 (roughly a C average) in core classes such as Maths, Science, and English. Students must also achieve a minimum score on their SAT examination. This is 820. However, remember that the higher your GPA, the lower SAT score is required, and it applies the other round too, the lower your GPA, the higher SAT score is required.

UK Athletes who want to compete at college level must register with the NCAA clearinghouse. This form should be provided to you by the coach at the university. Registration is a must, and in order for you to play you must also qualify, if you don't you will not be eligible to play or practice during your first year. For any questions on this please email me. For international applicants there is a onetime registration fee of $75.
